Overview
Technological advances have improved every aspect of our clinical practice. The main part of the presentation will discuss the traditional orthodontic patient workflow and introduce the latest tools available to optimize patient engagement, planning strategies and ultimately enhancing treatment outcomes. Participants will have hands on experience to try the tools and see examples of how they are being utilized in daily practice. Furthermore, strategies for digitizing your current patient workflow will be reviewed.
I would change the word “ will have hands on experience “ to “ will get a chance to experience first hand” in case we don’t get the iTero and we need to make do without one 😊

Dr. El-Gheriani completed his postgraduate training in Orthodontics at the University of Colorado, USA in 2006 after earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh, USA in 2002. He also holds a Master of Science (MS) in Human Genetics from the University of Pittsburgh, Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from Benghazi University, and a Master of Science in Dental Medicine (MSD) from the University of Colorado. Dr. El-Gheriani is a certified Diplomate in the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO).
He served on the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh and more recently was Assistant Professor of Orthodontics and Clinic Director at the European University College, Dubai.
Dr. El-Gheriani is the UAE Ambassador for the American Association of Orthodontists. He is published in the prestigious Journal of Dental Research as well as the American Journal of Orthodontics and has been invited as a guest speaker to several international meetings.
